You can do these workouts anywhere and they all require very little, if any, equipment. So you really have no excuses! Which reminds me of a quote I found and love:

“The next few months will go by whether you work out or not. Make them count.”

You have to take care of yourself because there aren’t such things as stomach or back transplants and your own one will always work better if you take care of it!

Everyone seems to be working on a healthy habit right now, whether it’s because of New Year’s Resolutions making an appearance again, the fear of spring break around the corner, or the pressure of Lent. Are you working on giving up a vice? Many people — especially women — tend to give up a sweet snack and it weighs on you like the pounds you lose because of it! I get it, you want to kick a bad habit, but you miss it. So don’t cry and whine about it, find a healthy recipe for it!

I for one love ice cream and smoothies and milkshakes, but the calories and fat in them are disgusting. Why would you waste half your day’s worth of calories for one treat that won’t even keep you full for half the day!? So I made my own substitute.

Kelsey’s Healthy Protein Ice Cream / Smoothie / Frozen Yogurt / Milkshake

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I like Body Fortress)
  • 1/2 – 1 c. frozen berries
  • 2 Tbsp. Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. natural peanut or almond butter

Blend it all until smooth and enjoy! If you need a little more, add some Reddi Wip on top 🙂
