Motivation Monday

How in the heck do you find motivation when it’s negative degrees outside, the roads stink, and it’s a perfect day for hot cocoa and movies?

That’s a tough question!

One thing that helps me is the that exercise makes me warm! My apartment is cold so I try to get up and do a few exercises every little bit to ramp up my internal temperature. Another motivational trick of mine is somewhat vain, but it works: I like the way I look and feel after a workout, and I really like hot cocoa and lattes so burning calories is worth the 20-30 minutes of hardcore exercise!

Other things that help increase motivation:

Music. I’m digging “Thinking About You” by Calvin Harris ft. Ayah Marar

A new workout. A 10-minute quick, total-body, fat-burning workout.

Figure out what you need and do it! You are worth it!
