Happy New Year! Kelsey’s Resolutions and a Recap of 2012

I’m not going to lie…. I didn’t do well on my New Year’s Resolutions. I completed 3 of the 6, which I guess is better than 0, but still…. I’m disappointed in myself. It’s not going to do me much good to whine and wallow in my mistakes and lack of action, so today is a new day—and a new year.

I have been thinking about new resolutions and I’ve decided that I’m going to write them down and put them where I can see them every day.

1)      Get at least 1 new fitness certification this year.
2)      Return to running by logging at least 3 miles a week. Starting slow and going steady.
3)      Decrease my monthly “fun/extra/entertainment” spending each month by $10-20 of what it currently is.
4)      Read at least 1 book a month—either for pleasure or work.
5)      Write in my journal at least once every two weeks because it helps me settle and compile my thoughts as well as relax and de-stress.
6)      Continue to grow Strength & Sweat by exploring other avenues from business—to helping other businesses, to writing a book or creating a newsletter/magazine, or to making DVDs.
